BioBasics Character name: Tokito Minoru Fandom/series: Wild Adapter Character age: Unknown, late teens/very early 20s is probably the best guess though. What point in their timeline?: End of volume 6 Abilities/powers: Tokito is pretty much on a level with every other human, but for one notable fact. He possesses extraordinary strength in his right arm, related to the fact that his hand is beast-like, clawed and covered in fur. Personality: Oh boy, Tokito is just a kid in terms of knowledge, experiences and attitude. He's very blunt and straightforward, and he doesn't sugar coat things or lie to make people feel better, much like young children. He's not too good at self censorship either, if he's got something to say then he's going to say it, whether you want to hear it or not. He just doesn't understand why people lie to each other, or to themselves. Again in common with small children, he has a tendency to be very selfish and make demands on people. In conjunction with this, he's also jealous of the people who matter to him (and by "people" I mean person). But in spite of this he is a good, kind hearted person, and often helps people out in his own round about way, though he doesn't always realise he's doing it. Not to mention that he's fiercely loyal to Kubota, and to any person he befriends. Unfortunately, due to things that have been done to him in the past, there are also certain elements that can send him into a panic-induced animalistic rage. History Tokito's past before Kubota found him is pretty much a mystery, and what little he can remember about it only makes it more so. It's safe to say that he was experimented on, and that those experiments are likely linked to the drug Wild Adapter, or W.A. It's also pretty safe to say that he was very young when these experiments started, and that he probably spent the better part of his life subjected to them. But that's all guess work, based on the occasional brief flashbacks he has. But whenever they started, and whatever they were trying to do, Tokito managed to escape. It's unsure how he managed that, but it cost him his memories and left him in a pretty bad state, and half-dead in an alleyway. Luckily for him, Kubota happened to be passing by at exactly the right time and, for reasons entirely his own, decided to bring him home and get him some medical treatment. Thus begins a very ambiguous relationship. In search of answers about Tokito's past, he and Kubota begin looking into anything related to W.A, in spite of any danger to themselves. They face anything from religious cults to Yakuza organisations in the process, and, despite very little progress, keep on going until they can find what they need to know. |
